The brightest students in the state with poor economic condition can complete their studies up to standard 12. For students studying in Std. 8 for the purpose of reducing drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary school . A scheme called NMMS  has been implemented from MHRD  New Delhi.State Examination Board Gandhinagar will conduct this examination on Sunday 03-01-2026.

Applications for this exam should be filled online only on www.sebexam.org website from 10-11-2025 to 22-11-2025.

The policy rules for scholarships are as follows:

1.Student should have obtained at least 50 percent marks or equivalent grade in Std-7.

2.Only students whose parents' annual income does not exceed Rs. 1,50,000 can appear for this       examination.

3.Examination fee for general category and OBC category students will be Rs 70.

4.Examination fee for P.H, S.C  and S.T category students will be Rs 50.

5.Service charge will have to be paid separately.

6.The fee paid will not be refunded.

• Question paper template and mark:  

            (1) MAT (Mental aptitude test)- 90 Que.- 90Marks - 90 Minute

                  These 90 questions will be of verbal and non-verbal logical calculation .These questions                            include Analogy, Classification, Numerical Series, Pattern Perception, Hidden Figure, etc.

            (2) SAT (scholastic aptitude test)-90 Que. -90 Marks - 90 Minute.

                

                    These 90 questions will include Std. 7 and Std. 8 Mathematics, Science and Social Science                     subjects.

                    Last year's academic course will be for Std 7.

                    The syllabus of the first semester of the current academic year will be for Std 8.
